Who we are

StudioBook is a booking service for photo and video studios. Operated by PROSTUDIO1 LLC, 2021 Tyler St, Suite #208B, Hollywood, FL 33020, USA. Contact: prostudio1.llc@gmail.com.

Two roles, two kinds of data

A studio owner is our customer: we process their data as the controller. A studio’s own client gives their data to the studio, not to us: we hold and process it on that studio’s instructions. The studio decides what to record about its clients and when to delete it.

What we store

About a studio and its team. Name, address, city, phone, email, opening hours, rooms, packages and prices, and the photographs the studio uploaded. For sign-in — email and a password (kept only as a hash, which cannot be turned back into the password), plus each team member’s name and role.

About a studio’s clients. Name, email (and any extra addresses for copies of letters), phone, company, how they found the studio, the studio’s internal notes, and the language they wrote in. Bookings: date, time, room, package, amounts, payment status, and any notes about the shoot. Payments: amount, method, date.

Technical. Two cookies: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers your language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Server logs keep ordinary request records — including IP address — needed to throttle password guessing and to investigate failures.

Google Calendar data

When a studio connects Google Calendar we ask for two scopes: “calendar.events” — to read and create events — and “calendar.calendarlist.readonly” — to list the calendars so the studio can pick one.

We use them only for what the studio asked for: to show busy hours so a client cannot book an occupied slot; to write the studio’s bookings into its calendar; and, when the studio presses the button, to find past shoots in that calendar and offer to bring them into the cabinet.

Calendar data is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never used to train models. Nobody on our team reads it except where needed to fix a failure or where the law requires it. Our use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Access can be withdrawn at any time: in the cabinet under “Settings → Calendars”, or from your own Google account settings. Once withdrawn we delete the access keys and stop reading the calendar.

Who we share data with

Only those the service cannot run without, and only what they need: Stripe — to take payments (card numbers pass through Stripe and never reach us); our email provider — to deliver letters to clients and owners; Google — calendar sync and studio address lookup, where a studio uses them; our hosting provider — the server the app runs on. We do not sell data and do not pass it on for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as the studio uses the service: its bookings and clients are its working records, and it needs them for accounting and tax. An owner can delete a client or a booking at any time. If a studio closes its account we delete its data along with its clients’ data; backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion — write to prostudio1.llc@gmail.com. If you are a studio’s client, ask the studio: the data is theirs and we act on their instruction. If a studio does not respond, write to us and we will help.

Children

The service is for running a studio and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above, and for material changes we will tell studio owners by email.
